Public Men’s Public Research Snowboard 2024

Public Snowboards’ Public Research is by far the most freeride-focused board in their lineup. Still, it’ll have the same speed, durability, and fantastic pop that we’ve come to know Public for. The directional shape and mostly-cambered profile makes for a deck that absolutely eats up groomers, while the 8mm taper of the board provides excellent float in powder. Of course, as a Public board, it’ll still do just what you need it to do on the freestyle side of things. Packed with new carbon layouts and sporting an extra-fast sintered base, the Public Research board is quickly going to build a reputation as an all-mountain killer.

FEATURES

• Mountain Alert Camber – Rocker in the tip and tail to surf powder, and plenty of camber for control and stability in rough terrain.
• Poplar Light Core – Premium 100% FCS certified lightweight paulownia wood reduces weight but maintains a snappy feel while hardwood underfoot reduces board breaks and increases insert retention.
• Urethane Sidewalls – Offers superior dampening compared to ABS or P-Tex sidewalls while extremely durable against impacts to extend the life of the board.
• Sintered Base – Designed with deep pores for superior wax absorption to maintain speed and is extremely abrasion resistant for maximum durability.
• Carbon V – Carbon Stringers that are strategically placed in a V pattern in the tip and tail for increased response from the binding to the contact point. Endless snap in and out of turns and an overall increased pop.
• Carbon Stringer – A 20mm wide carbon stringer running tip to tail increases overall pop and response without increasing torsional flex to keep the board feeling lively and nimble underfoot.
